Reimagining how we study biomolecules
Seham Helmi
Postdoc
Scientifically: Currently, I'm combining the addressability and programability offered by DNA nanostructures with the detection capabilities of mass photometry for various applications.
Background:
I did my PhD in Dresden with Ralf Seidel on building programmable metallic nanostructure based on DNA origami molds. I then joined Andrew Turberfield as a postdoc working on the design and assembly of DNA devices for single-molecule characterisation of electronic components and molecular motors.
Gastronomically: La Cucina, Chester Arms, Yeti
